Chapter 1: The first of Ambers

This is Adel Amber.  She has just moved to Sunset Valley, and is the first member of the Amber family.  Her traits are:  No Sense of Humor, Lucky, Handy, Commitment Issues and Ambitious.

Adel wanted a well paid job, and enjoyed being in charge of certain affairs, so she decided to join the buissness career.  After all, her biggest wish was to become CEO of Mega Corporation!

The moment Adel saw the building, she was pleased.  This was definately the kind of building and job she'd enjoy.  Sunset Valley seemed such a nice place to live at.  So far, that is....

Adel decided that the first thing she wanted to do was to have a chat with her boss, it would be much easier if they knew her better.

"Oh, uhh, Good Afternoon sir.  You must be my boss Iqbal Alvi?It's my pleasure to meet you!" Adel introduced herself.  She found herself feeling a little silly, a bit unnatural, and was afraid of looking silly.  She couldn't easily crack a joke, like most simmies.

"Then you come apon an office..."  Iqbal helped Adel a bit by telling her the exact locations of where to find things in the buissness/journalism office.

"If you need more help, you can drop by at my house any time..." Iqbal continued.

"It was my pleasure to come and meet you sir," Adel ended the conversation.  "I think I'd better go now."  Much better than the first time you talked to him, Adel.

And Adel left in the yellow taxi..

Adel's next stop was at the school, where she hoped to find a good painting lesson opportunity.  It can be remembered that her first interest was painting.

1 hour later: Adel walked out, now on Painting skill level one.  An improvement that's small.

Fianlly, Adel made up her mind on her house.  Here it is, from the outside.  She chose a cheerful door for it, to even up the fact that windows were visible from only the backyard.

(Srry, accidentally put in a second picture.)  The house was visibly much more nicer on the inside than on the outside, all the equipment was pretty high quality for a first time house.

Adel worked hard on a new skill: handiness.  That's much like a handy sim...

Adel seemed to happy making her dinner of Macaroni and cheese... 

The happiness didn't last too long.  Adel was disappointed to find that she had let the macaroni cook for too long.  By now, she was real hungry...

In the end, Adel threw together some exceptional quality salad.

The first night passed by very peacefully for Adel Amber.

In the morning, Adel enjoyed dancing to some Indie music.  I say, she doesn't make a bad dancer!  She grooved off many interesting moves.

Adel was all ready for her first day of work, anxious negatively and positevely.

"You're kidding me: you can't come just because?!" Adel let it slip while talking with her boss.

"Good Evening Iqbal!" Adel togged over all the way to Iqbal's house to talk to him.

"Why do you talk like that to me, Amber Adel?" (Obviously doesn't know Adel's name here very well.) "You want me to give you something, I know it.  All the workers do.  But I've seen the same thing so many times, that you shouldn't count on anything!"

Iqbal left Adel standing out there as soon as he was done talking.  Adel felt hurt, because she had never delt with anything like this, the disadvantage of not dealing with problems before.  Will Adel have to learn how to easily withstand things like this, or will her luck stay good?  Will she learn to ignore small problems or be unable to catch on?  Perhaps something will totally change the situatio...
